MY STORY
You didn't expect to be here. And yet here you are, trying to figure out what to eat, what to avoid, and how to help your body through something that feels completely out of your control.
Maybe you've just received a diagnosis and don't know where to start. Maybe you're in the middle of treatment and food has become difficult. Nothing tastes right, your appetite is gone, and your energy has disappeared. Maybe treatment is behind you but you're still waiting to feel well again. Or maybe you're the person beside someone you love, watching them struggle and wanting to help.
Wherever you are in this journey, there is meaningful support available to you. And nutrition is a powerful part of it.
My name is Mirian, and I am a Certified Oncology Nutrition Consultant with a clinical background in human nutrition and advanced training in integrative and functional health.
My path into this work wasn't accidental. Early in my career I worked directly with oncology patients in a hospital setting. I understood the medicine, I followed the protocols, and I genuinely cared about every person I worked with. But something kept staying with me.
The people I worked with were dealing with far more than a diagnosis. They were managing fatigue, digestive changes, appetite loss, fear, and a body that felt foreign to them. The conventional nutrition model couldn't fully address all of that. I kept asking myself what more nutrition could do, and what the body actually needs to stay as resilient as possible through treatment, recovery, and beyond.
Those questions changed the direction of my career. I pursued specialized training through the Oncology Nutrition Institute, deepened my understanding of integrative nutrition principles, and built a practice designed to support people at every stage of a cancer journey
What I do looks
different from
conventional nutrition counselling.
I sit with your whole story, including your treatment plan, your symptoms, your energy, your digestion, and the emotional weight you're carrying, and I build a personalized strategy around what your body actually needs right now.
My approach is rooted in whole-food, nutrient-dense eating that looks beyond symptoms to the underlying factors shaping how your body functions.
This is not about eating perfectly or adding more pressure to an already hard season. It is about giving your body the nourishment it needs to do the hard work it is already doing
I work with:
People newly diagnosed with cancer. People in active treatment managing side effects like fatigue, nausea, and appetite loss. People in remission building a long-term foundation for wellness. And family members who want practical guidance on how to nourish their loved one well.
My clients often arrive feeling overwhelmed by conflicting information, with no one helping them make sense of what is right for their body and their situation. That clarity is what I offer.
If you are ready to feel supported, I would love to connect.
